From my current short story project Royal Space Police Cadets (i’ll proberly change the title, but that will surfice for now)

Suzume and Miyuki rush towards the cargo bay, where Atsushi is preparing to launch, they barge though the door and onto the gantry, seeing there childhood friend getting in to the cockpit, severly out o…f breath, and with only an ounce of energy left they both shout out his name.

Atsu-Chan!, Atsushi-Kun!, there voices eched in desperation, but there words never reaching him dissapearing into the cold air of the cargo bay, just like rain falling on a parched desert only to evapourate in the dry air above, not detered Suzume musters all she can and shouts one more time PLEASE, ATSUSHI-KUN!!!!, tears streaming down her face.

Atsushi opens the hatch of his cockpit turns towards his two childhood friends in the gantry surprised he thinks ‘Yuki?, Suzu? what are they doing here?’ he jumps out of his fighter and runs across the floor a distance of no more than 20 metres but the run seemed like miles, stopping just below the gantry he looks up, Miyuki is about to speak, but an anouncement comes over from the control room, Endo-San you are due to launch in 2 minutes please return to your fighter. Seeing the tears in the eyes of Suzume, and Miyuki’, he knew couldn’t follow that order just yet.

Thats what my next Royal Space Police Cadets picture is going to be based on, it’s going to be an hard one to draw, need to design my fighter and then the cargo bay, time to reserach.
Where this goes in my short story i have no idea, but i’m putting no more down at the moment :), i have the rest of the converstaion in my head, don’t want to spoil to much lol.

I wrote this right off the bat, it’s taken me over an hour. It may not be fantastic but i’m happy with it, my first real piece of writing actually. Now to think how to portray this in manga format lol..hmm???? with Pictures lol

Finally my 3 OC’s together in one drawing, i’m going to sort the problems out digitaly, there is some lol.
My hand drawn skills are not quite right yet, my inking is wonky and mistakes are harder to correct, so at the moment. Digital work is the way to go. Untill i get a Wacom Cintiq it’ll be pencil drawing and scanning in to manga studio or CS5 to ink and colour digitaly.

Anyway these 3 are part of the royal space police cadets, got to finish the badge off, what there role is; has yet to be decided but i’ll think of something to go with the finished work.

she wore, she wore, she wore a scarlet ribbon, she wore a scarlet ribbon in the merry motnth of May, and when i asked her why she wore that ribbon she said its for United cos we’re going to Wem-ber-leeee…

Yeah she’s gonna be a united fan and she will wear that ribbon lol ;)

I’m abit releaved now, i have spent 3 hours just trying to get the character poses right..at one point i was getting really fustrated..so i decided to walk away for a few minutes to chill out. :) once i got back to my desk i figured out what i was doing wrong, and i am happy with how i have drawn them

Has restarted Macross Frontier, and i must say it’s bloody epic, the music, the visuals, the love triangle, the action, yes even the story is going places.

But i would’ve never watched it, if it didn’t have the romance in it. So i take the romance side of it out, what would i think?. Well it would hold no merit for me, yes the visuals, music and action are good but not enough for me on there own.

But the romance side fits in perfectly and as a bonus is tied to the everything else i like, and which i’d like to see in any harem show or other anime i watch someone risking there lives in battle/saving the people who care about him and vise versa (his friends backing him up, caring for and protecting him.

I find that heartwarming having a close circle of friends, it’s the kind of guy i am. I’m not soft but i have those qualities to show consideration, caring, support and understanding to other people just never had the circle to do so. So its natual i like to see those things play out in anime (harems) as i like to think of me being in the role of the male lead.

wll its been a while since i did a long post lol…..Essay over now lol lol :)

I tried to be consistant in each drawing, but it’s quite hard at times, and a few problems need ironing out lol maybe a bit of perspective..anyway enjoy :)

My 2nd character after Miyuki Kiyomizu, funny i like to do many different rough designs to a character, but i think this suits how i want Endo-San to be, and was only my 2nd draft lol..

He is Kiyomizu-chans childhood friend…

Am undecided yet if the two have a romantic relationship or that of Very close friends, (like brother and sister)

but down the line if i go with that idea i might just twist the relationship back to a romantic one well on her side anyway….

will put both BIOS up soon, will do some more art of them first

Watching Tenchi Muyo GXP makes me think how much i actually really liked the original OVA of Tenchi Muyo, so much comes flooding back to me later in the show especially after the crossover on the 17th episode (NOSTALGIC).

You don’t have to see the orginal OVA’S to watch GXP, but if you don’t watch them, then you don’t get the same satisfaction.. and exitement, when you well *i can’t really explain it well, it makes sense to me anyway* pointless trying to explain lol ;)

Yet another area of my mind when it comes to anime..or maybe is it because Tenchi Muyo series and spin offs are HAREM..yes i used that word but it’s been a while.

now to wait for Zero no Tsukaima Season 4 to come out, oh and fuck off railgun lol, finish INDEX off with a season 3..

Harems my favourite shows, every other show takes a back seat until i have finished with them all

*ECCHI, LOVE TRINAGLE, HAREMS OR ANY ANIME WILL NOT SCORE ABOVE 8 IF THE INGREDIENTs I LIKE ARE NOY THERE*

Yes i love my harem shows but not all have the ingredients to reach my heart ina real way.

My opinion is voiced again like it or lump it lol. It’s not everybody cup of tea and i respect everyones opinions, but to me these kind of anime is what makes me feel better about my life, something which no one can change even if a show get 1000 bad reveiws and everyone hates if i like it i like it ;)

So finished Hidan No Aria..for the first half it was going along nicely, then one of the charcters closet to him fucked off to a training camp and was never seen again in the show untill that time i thought i’ll enjoy this and it was going to easily be gIven score of 9, mainly because of the caring devoted childhod friend not so much the triangle but that would of been a bonus.

Even for a Harem (you can disagree if you want but in my book it is) this is poor by my standards just like Koi Koi Severn. The ecchi parts kept Hidan No Aria just above a score of 5, but there was not the development i like to see, there was a possibily a love triangle, in the early epsiodes but that got fucked up once she went away, but again that alone would keep it at a 7 or 8 at best to make it to a 9-10 score it needs to connect with me in a different way and make me fee a certain way just like Futakoi and Maburharo did and indeed some epsidoes of C3 :). Any anime show will guarentee a 10 from me if it has what i’m looking for it just happens harems mostly do.

Air gear started the same way but then thats slipped off the mark to my requirements for a good anime show. Gosick is not Harem,ecch or love trinagle (well maybe slightly, but thats beside the point) it’s the relatiomship between the two mains that interests me its easy to see how close they are and how they care about each other (there is a little romance but i’d be happy with them just being close friends the romance helps it along, but i don’t always need it in a show), but a few episodes have got what i’m looking for and its gonna end up as a 9 unless it totally fucks up in the last 5 episodes.

now with the london games next year, i’d thought i do an olympic themed anime picture for the London 2012 games, i’ve just had a idea hit into my head. will need to quickly jot it down….

I’m full of anime themed art ideas, but i never had the confidence to do it, as i’m afraid it will turn out poor lol, and not the way i expect it to turn out and then it gets me down and i forget about it lol, but this time i’m going to succeed, i’ve got till next Summer :)

Laptuta rewatch HEARTWARMING

Has rewatched Laputa Castle in the sky tonight, and i forgot how beautiful and touching it was. the cat returns and earthsea had the same feel at times, but Laputa Beat them all, i feel good now.

see i don’t always need HAREM to get my fix lol, though it usually guarantees it ;)

I had the same feeling with Voices of a distant star OVA, and in some of only a handful of non harems i have watched, i can find it almost anywhere and at any time such as Gosick and Blood + for example lol

Voices of a distant star OVA review:

So i have just watched it and by the way the same guy did 5cm per second (another nice anime)…this he directed and produced on his own Power Mac G4 with his wife, i think thats epic lol..Producing an anime by using 1 Mac lol..

anyway on …with the rest

The character art is different to say the least very generic and looked odd, but i liked it in it’s own way and you soon get taken into the story anyway but the rest of the Art seems extreamly well done ..there is no blu ray release like his other films

So The story is Beautiful and quite sad, you feel for the charcters in the end particually the girl, and for a 25 minute OVA it packs everything in quite well without feeling rushed.

it’s way shorter than 5cm, but the plot is kinda the same, but a different story, though i think this is done better with such a short length..
i really like this OVA a lot, and i recommend you watch it.

Not much else to say really, this is my first review don’t know how it’s turned out but i’m giving it a 10 on my anime list… :)
